HIFULL® HL-150 (BET=150㎡ /g)
HIFULL HL-150 is a hydrophilic fumed silica with a specific surface area of around 150 square meters/gram. It has low specific surface, easy to disperse. HIFULL HL-150 plays a significant role in thickening, thixotropy, and elastomer reinforcement, especially in room-temperature vulcanization (RTV) silicone rubber and high-temperature vulcanization (HTV) silicone rubber.

The silicone polymer network of RTV & HTV rubber is mechanically weak, It needs to be reinforced to be put into actual use. Adding HL-150 will increase the viscosity of the rubber material, improve the mechanical properties of vulcanized silicone rubber, such as hardness, tensile strength, tear resistance and abrasion resistance, as well as enhance the aging resistance and durability of the product, thus prolonging the service life.
In adhesives and sealants, HIFULL HL-150 improves the rheological and mechanical properties, strengthen the bonding strength, which can solve the problems of sagging and dripping during the application of polyurea sealants or tile grout.

HL-150 performs excellent thickening and thixotropic, anti-sagging, anti-settling and reinforcing properties in coatings and paints, leather finishes, electrical insulators and liquid adhesives.
As a hydrophilic fumed silica, HL-150 has excellent reinforcing properties and is widely used in RTV rubber and HTV rubber. It is one of the representatives of HIFULL® hydrophilic fumed silica with a low specific surface area.

Pyrohydrolysi & Trichloromethylsilane

When fumed silica is used as filler or additives, it helps in thickening, reinforcement, transparency, free-flow, thixotropic performance, dielectric properties, anti-settling, heat insulation, and anti-sagging. For example, for powder products, HIFULL fumed silica is used as an anti-caking agent; for liquid products, HIFULL fumed silica is used as an anti-settling agent or suspending agent.
